This policy brief presents the collective interdisciplinary analysis made by the above authors in the frame of research conducted within the ANR-DATARights project on data subject access rights. Taking into account the normative objectives of the Commission to achieve both simplification and a high level of protection for fundamental rights, we provide a critical opinion on the proposed Digital Omnibus Regulation and proposals of our own that may contribute to the same normative goals. This paper only reflects the opinions of its authors.
